Mary Dauterman is a writer-director based in Brooklyn. She is a Film Independent Screenwriting and Fast Track Fellow. Her debut feature, a body horror comedy called Booger, premiered at Fantasia Film festival in 2023 and was supported by Tribeca Creators Market and Film Independent. She has written and directed projects for Adult Swim, published kids books that aren’t for kids, directed some decent commercials, and co-invented a viral beach accessory, The Tortilla Towel (TM). A creative alum from Wieden + Kennedy, Droga5, and CP+B (creative portfolio here), she was recognized as an ADC Young Gun for her body of work.
